Clips from the 35th Annual Honor the Earth Powwow

The Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe Tribe has celebrated its 35th Annual Honor The Earth Traditional Powwow. Located in Northern Wisconsin, the Honor The Earth Powwow is considered one of largest traditional events of its kind in the region and has many additional events focused on recognition of veterans, runs and fry bread contest as an offering.

This years Honor The Earth was no exception, with several thousand people coming through the gates for the four day event.

Here are a few clips of the some of the 18 drums and many dancers at the powwow, including Pipestone, Drum roll call from Friday evening, Raining Thunder, Cumberland and Little Otter.
