This years conference takes place at the Quileute Resort in LaPush, Washington, in the lush Olympic Rain Forest and the heart of Northwest Tribal Culture.
The organizers expect a large event. From noted actor and musical performer Gary Farmer to storytelling icon Elizabeth Woody to multi-talented First Nations novelist, childrens book writer, and award-winning storyteller Richard Van Camp, our presenters bring the best of the region and Indian Country to our attendees.

The workshops and larger presentations span the range of the ways in which Story manifests itself today in Native communities, and beyond, says Roppolo. A traditional Salmon Feast is offered Saturday evening, followed by musical entertainment by Gary Farmer and the Troublemakers.
