Chapman, Audrick C.

IDAHO, Lapwai – Funeral services were held for AUDRICK C. CHAPMAN, 39, on October 4, 2010, at the Pi Nee Waus in Lapwai. Interment followed at the Jonah Cemetery in Sweetwater. Audrick was born November 23, 1970, in San Francisco, California. He passed away September 30, 2010, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Idaho, of complications from pneumonia.

    Audrick was a member of the Nez Perce Tribe and resided in the Warm Springs, Oregon, and Lapwai. He graduated from Madras (Oregon) High School in 1989 and also attended Chicago Iron Workers School, Chemeketa Community College in Salem, Oregon, and Northwest Indian College Lapwai DLC. He worked for fisheries in Warm Springs. Audrick also worked for the Salmon Corps for two years and received a scholarship in 1994-1995. He worked for Nez Perce Tribal Fisheries for 13 years. Audrick enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, going to powwows, playing volleyball, and he especially enjoyed playing horseshoes with family and friends.
