Funeral services were held for EMMA LUCILLE RAINEY, 85, on February 8, 2011, at St. Marys Mission Catholic Church. Interment followed at St. Marys Mission Catholic Cemetery. Emma was born February 6, 1925, in Red Lake. She passed away February 3, 2011, at the Jourdain-Perpich Extended Care Center in Red Lake.
Angie was raised and educated in Red Lake. She married in 1945 and moved to Minneapolis in the early 1970s. She worked as a custodian for the Indian Center for several years. She moved back to Red Lake a year ago. She liked to go to the casino and play bingo. She enjoyed cooking and loved to take care of her family, especially her grandchildren.
