Tso-Dodge, Marjorie: Walking On

Standing Rock, New Mexico

Funeral services were held for MARJORIE TSO-DODGE, 70, on September 30, at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Crownpoint, New Mexico. Interment followed on family land at Standing Rock. Marjorie was born June 5, 1941, in Standing Rock. She passed away September 25, 2011, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
   
Dodge graduated from high school in Oklahoma, and received her bachelor's degree in education from Northern Arizona University, and postgraduate studies and educational specialist degree in school administration at New Mexico State University. Dodge recently retired from Gallup-McKinley County Schools as a teacher at Crownpoint Middle School. In her education career she held various positions, including teacher (K-12), academic department head, program coordinator, principal, assistant superintendent, university professor at University of New Mexico and Northern Arizona University, Native American AmeriCorp program director, and served on North Central Association-Commission on Accreditation teams.
