Twohatchet, Clifton Lee: Walking On

Idaho, Lapwai

Funeral services were held for CLIFTON LEE TWOHATCHET I, 42, on September 14, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lapwai. Interment followed at the Nez Perce Tribal Cemetery. Clifton was born January 27, 1969, in Elk City, Oklahoma. He passed away September 8, 2011.
   
Clifton graduated from Lapwai High School in 1989. From 1990-1993, he worked as a seasonal camp crew worker for the Nez Perce Tribe fire crew. In 1994-1996 he moved to the Seattle area and worked at Tilicum village where he was a cook, as well as a dancer and groundskeeper. From 1996-2000 he lived in Vancouver Island, British Columbia. After living in Canada, he moved back home to live in Lapwai Valley. Clifton enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. (Ta'c Tito'oqan News, October 2011)
