Kurowski, Kenneth Howard: Walks On

SOUTH CAROLINA, Abbeville – A Celebration of Life was held for KENNETH HOWARD KUROWSKI, 73, at his home on August 27, 2009. Full military rites followed. Kenneth was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin. He passed away August 22, 2009, at his home.

Kenneth was a United States Marine veteran serving in the first, second and third Marine Divisions. After he was discharged from the Marines, he later joined the United States Army in which he served in Vietnam from 1965 until 1966. He was a retired employee of the Oil Field Industry having worked as a heavy equipment operator. He was also a lifetime member of the VFW. He was also a past American Legion Post Commander at Post 62 in Bridgeport, Illinois. He was also a member of the Oneida Tribe of Wisconsin Indians. (Kalihwisaks, August 27, 2009)
