Parrish, Christopher Aldo Musicaian

ARIZONA, Flagstaff – Funeral services were held for CHRISTOPHER ALDO PARRISH, 26, on December 21, 2009, at the Flagstaff Indian Bible Church in Flagstaff. Interment followed at the Citizen National Cemetery on the Northern Arizona University campus in Flagstaff. Christopher was born August 18, 1983, at the Monument Valley Hospital. He was officially determined to have died December 10, 2009, in San Diego, California.


Christopher graduated from Monument Valley High School in 2001 and attended Kitsap High School in Bremerton, Washington. He attended Pima Medical Institute in San Diego and received his veterinarian assistant certificate, studied environmental science through Dine College, received his electrical wiring certificate from Albuquerque Job Corps, and received his associates and bachelors degrees in visual communications in Tempe, Arizona. He worked for Haskins Electrical as an electrical wiring assistant and warehouse manager in Albuquerque, Kayenta Workforce Department as a computer specialist and administration clerk in Kayenta, as a painter and a team leader for Dow’s Painting in Langley, Washington, and in fast-food restaurants in the Phoenix and Mesa area. His hobbies included writing music, playing his guitar, drums, riding his BMX bike, running, hiking, and spending time with friends and family. (Navajo Times, December 17, 2009)
