Drug task force nets conviction

Sioux Falls, South Dakota (AP) July 2011

A Nebraska woman has pleaded guilty to drug charges in federal court.

U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson says Louella Mae Bohman pleaded guilty to drug conspiracy and distribution charges. The 46-year-old Bohman, of North Platte, is accused of selling methamphetamine on the Rosebud Reservation last year.

She faces a maximum of 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine. Her sentencing is scheduled for September 26.

The investigation was conducted by a task force involving local and tribal authorities to target drug trafficking on Reservations.
