Four get prison in meth ring on Arizona reservation

Tucson, Arizona (AP) November 2011

Four people have been sentenced to prison for their roles in a methamphetamine ring on the Tohono O’odham Nation in southern Arizona.

Authorities say a seven-month combined tribal-federal operation that began in August 2010 targeted a network of meth dealers in the San Lucy Village on the reservation.

Undercover agents made several buys and purchased approximately 46 grams of methamphetamine from various targets of the investigation. The arrests were made in November 2010.

Federal prosecutors said that 33-year-old Ramon Ordonez was sentenced to 10 years in prison for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

They say 26-year-old Daniel Gannon got a five-year prison sentence, 29-year-old Lisa Siquieros a 30-month prison term and 31-year-old Angel Siquieros a 14-month sentence – all for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
