Judge attaches two months to bank robbery term

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (AP) 9-07

A federal judge has attached two years to the prison term of a man whose supervised release on child sexual abuse charges was revoked after he robbed a bank, authorities said.

Ronald Dean Tiger originally was sentenced to serve six years in prison in connection with his guilty plea to federal child sex abuse counts for abusive sexual contact of a minor American Indian child under the age of 12.

After his release from custody, Tiger robbed a bank in Tulsa and was subsequently charged with bank robbery in August 2006. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced January 30 to 14 years and two months.

The government to sought to revoke the original term of supervised release in the child sexual abuse case based upon Tiger's new robbery conviction. The judge also ordered that the 24 months be served consecutively to his sentence for bank robbery.
