FBI seeks help in solving Eagleman case 4-23-07

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - The special agent in charge of the Minneapolis FBI says his agency is seeking the public's help in finding whoever killed Vicki Eagleman.

The request was made Monday in an FBI news release from Ralph S. Boelter.

The body of Eagleman, 33, of Lower Brule, was found Aug. 23 by searchers near Medicine Creek, close to Pierre. The mother of five had been missing for a month.

Investigators said Eagleman's corpse was naked and her face was beaten.

The FBI and the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe are offering a $15,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the killer or killers, according to the release.
