Letter to the Editor: Our Beloved Brother Charlie

August 2010

On Wednesday morning August 11th between 5 and 6 o’clock on Highway “E” on the LCO Reservation, we believe someone struck and killer our brother Charlie DeNasha and left the scene. Charlie was run over a second time, but according to the coroner, Charlie was already deceased at that time.

Our hearts are sick wondering who could have done this terrible thing to our brother, to a fellow human being and then just left him there. We  feel someone out there may know more about this tragedy and we are hoping they will do the right thing and come forward.

Bring some very important closure and healing to our family.

A person with good sense, a quay or neej, with a conscience is to be respected and I am hoping and praying that that person will do the right thing. Release yourself from a guilty conscience.  If you choose to continue to withhold this information it will haunt you for the rest of your life. Trust me, sleep will not come easy.

Charlie didn’t deserve this and never did anything to anybody. Both Him and our family at the very least deserve that someone do the right thing and call the LCOPD at  715.634.8350 or 634-8351 and tell them what happened on that tragic and fateful morning.

A Grieving Mother.
