Two dead, one injured after northern Wisconsin accident

Two people are dead and another is seriously injured after a head-on collision in northern Wisconsin.

Ashland County Sheriff John Kovach says the accident was reported at 3:23 p.m. on Christmas Day on the Red Cliff Indian Reservation in the Town of Sanborn.

He identified the two people who died as 22-year-old Courtney Greene and 21-year-old William Jones, both of Odanah.

The Daily Press of Ashland reported that one person, who was not identified, was hospitalized in serious to critical condition with unspecified injuries.

Deputies are still investigating. Kovach says more information will be available later.
