Agencies seek help in pedestrian fatality 8-07

Lodge Grass, Montana (AP) - Bureau of Indian Affairs law enforcement and the FBI are seeking information on the death of a pedestrian here.

Jordan Blacksmith, 17, was stuck and killed in the early morning hours of Aug. 3 on Highway 87, near mile marker 14 in Lodge Grass. Passers-by reported the incident to the Crow Police Department at about 5 a.m.

Investigators believe the public may have information that would help them close the case.

“Agents working the case will gladly speak to anyone who has information regarding traffic or anything else they saw on Highway 87 the morning of the death,” said Matthew Pryor, special agent in charge of BIA law enforcement in Montana.
