The Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska is starting a new campaign against methamphetamines, with anti-drug billboards and TV spots targeted toward people on the American Indian reservation.
Residents themselves designed the ads, which a project director says focus on what to do if you suspect someone of using or dealing the drug.
Nearly 2 percent of American Indians used meth during 2007, according to a federal study.
The National Congress of American Indians and tribes across the country have prioritized the fight against meth addiction.
