Mitchell Technical Institute will offer a wind turbine technology program to students at Sinte Gleska University at Mission on the Rosebud Reservation.
MTI outreach coordinator John Heemstra says the one-year diploma program will qualify students as entry-level technicians. The program will be limited to 10 students the first year.
Heemstra says classes will be delivered through a combination of distance learning, two-way video classes, some regular classes at Sinte Gleska, and classes taught by visiting MTI faculty.
