Ramona Allard-Hendren is a Turtle Mountain Anishinaabeqwe (Indigenous woman) who works in Minneapolis, Minnesota as a nurse practitioner. She's also a member of the Mide Lodge (Medicine Lodge). She has successfully integrated Western and Traditional medical practice.

She emphasizes the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects in her healing practice.

Besides a stethoscope she uses sage, tobacco, and dancing caring for patients. Nick Vander Puy met Allard-Hendren at the July Traditional Elder and Youth Healing Circle in Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin.
