Dino Barber hunts walleye on Chippewa Flowage at Lac Courte Oreilles

The other day Dino Barber was sitting in his truck, sipping a cold one, and watching some tip ups on the Chippewa Flowage.

During the summer he works as a mason, but in winter he kicks back to chase walleye. Now, Dino Barber rides herd on more than a dozen tip ups  on the Chippewa Flowage in northwestern Wisconsin.

Barber says walleye feed more heavily after dark.  This prediction turned true the day after this video was recorded when Barber caught several walleye and dropped them off at the "News from Indian Country" offices on the Lac Courte Oreilles Reserve. The fish were yummy.

"I like to drink beer when I'm fishing."
